We hope you can join us for the panel discussion ‘The Rise of Arabic Literature in English?’ on 25 July 2015 which is one of many wonderful events taking place between 11 to 26 July 2015 as part of the ‘Shubbak: A Window on Contemporary Arab Culture’ festival at the British Library in London.
Daniel Newman will be speaking about Arabic Erotica in the context of the growth in the availability of works by Arab authors in the English language in recent years alongside poet and novelist Sinan Antoon as well as playwright and novelist Selma Dabbagh in a panel discussion moderated by author Robin Yassin-Kassab.
